Ms. Wendy Huang - Librarian Ms. Wendy Huang graduated from Nankai University majoring in Chinese Language and Literature. As an undergraduate student, she taught Korean students to improve their Chinese, with all going on to pass HSK intermediate examination. She recently acquired her Masters Degree at the National University of Singapore. She is very proud to be the Librarian at Wellington College and to help establish the library and its collections. Having obtained Mandarin Chinese teaching certificate last year, she also hopes to have the opportunity to increase her teaching experience in the future. She enjoys reading and writing in her spare time.

Ms. Lily Chen - Nursery Ms. Lily Chen graduated at Nanjing Sport University with Degree in Physical Education and holds a Mandarin Teaching Certificate from Hua Nan Shi Fan University. She has been PE teacher for five years and Mandarin teacher for two years. She particularly enjoys teaching gymnastics and dancing to young children as well as Mandarin to native and non-native Chinese speakers. Her interests include travelling, sports and cookery.

Ms. Shannon Jiang - Reception Ms. Shannon Jiang graduated from the Heinrich-Heine-University, Germany with two Master Degrees: English and Media Culture Analysis. She previously worked for the Children’s Home Society of Minnesota. She is delighted to be a part of the founding team in The Nest at Wellington College.

Ms. Fiona Yu - Year 1 Ms. Fiona Yu graduated from Tianjin Foreign Studies University achieving TEM Grade 8 in English and also holds a Mandarin Chinese Teaching Certificate. She has taught English to children of all ages and enjoys bringing learning alive with activities and games in and out of the classroom. At Wellington College she hopes her pupils love and enjoy their learning with the enthusiasm she gives each day. In her spare time she enjoys reading, dancing and aerobics.

Ms. Tracy Hsu - Year 2 Ms. Tracy Hsu obtained her Bachelor Degree in English Translation & Interpretation and English Certificate TEM Grade 8 at Tianjin Foreign Studies University. She also holds a National Teacher Qualification Certificate and Mandarin Certificate, and has two years experience in education. As a Teaching Assistant at Wellington College, she aims to encourage all children and build their self-confidence as well as be a bridge to support communication between pupils, their parents and the teachers.

Ms. Talia Zeng - Year 3 Ms. Talia Chen graduated from Tianjin Foreign Study University and has experience as a Teaching Assistant. She believes trust is more valuable than merely teaching students ‘right or wrong.’ She is passionate and committed to support the children and assist the Junior School teachers. She likes singing, dancing and everything about music. She has many outdoor hobbies, including jogging, skiing, and photography.

Ms. Angela Zhang - Year 4 Ms. Angela Zhang obtained her Bachelor Degree from Tianjin University of Commerce majoring in English and holds a Mandarin Chinese teaching certificate. She has taught English in school for two years. She is the first Teaching Assistant to be appointed at Wellington College and is Teaching Assistant Leader in the Junior School. Her hobbies include drama and reading and she hopes to help pupils’ acting and performance skills.

Ms. Vicky Chu - Year 5 Ms. Vicky Chu has a Bachelor Degree in International Business from Tianjin University of Science and Technology. During university she received CET6 and TEM Grade 8 English certification. She has a passion for teaching and strives to make sure that all pupils at Wellington College receive the very best education possible. Her hobbies include language learning and drawing.

Ms. Catherine Jia - Year 6 Ms. Catherine Jia graduated from Tianjin Normal University majoring in English and International Trade and has teacher certification in Mandarin. She is enjoying the challenges working at Wellington College, particularly in helping the Year 6 pupils prepare for the Senior school.

Ms. Emma Chen - Music Ms. Emma Chen graduated from Tianjin Normal University with a Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance & Education. Her passion and skills are in the Arts, particularly in Music. She is appointed Teaching Assistant in the Music Department at Wellington College and hopes to pass on her knowledge and enthusiasm to the pupils through classroom support and instrumental teaching. She has distinguished herself as a talented pianist, performing solo and as an accompanist, at concerts and assemblies since the opening of the school.
