The Library staff extends a very warm welcome to all members of the Wellington College community.
The Library provides an excellent space in which teaching and learning can take place. This is an airy, generously proportioned, and peacefully pleasant environment. It is located on the second floor, adjacent to the atrium.
Making use of the site’s state-of-the-art resources allows work in the classroom to be appropriately supported, permits focused study, and, through the opportunity for research, inspires independent thinking.
In addition to the ready availability of modern technology, Wellington believes that to properly encourage a love of reading and foster a lasting enjoyment of scholarship, books themselves should be readily accessible. Thus, the Library is a balanced facility, encouraging academic inquiry by offering both new and more traditional materials.
For more information, please go to the drop down menu on this website.
However, basic details are as follows:

- It may have to close at 15:00 on other days at short notice for staff in-service meetings.
- Parents may use the Library during class visits. However, class borrowing will take priority at the circulation desk.
